One of the first things we did once the lockdown started to relax and terraces opened (in May 2020) was to rent a car and go around Munich a bit. Our first trip, on our wedding anniversary day, was at the Eibsee Lake, right near the Zugspitze, at the border with Austria. Eibsee is really beautiful, small enough to allow for a lovely walk around the lake within 2-3 hours (with stops).
