I do remember very fondly the two trips my parents and I took in the 80s (1982 and 1984) through Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland and DDR.
In East Germany, we visited many places, like Berlin, Potsdam, Dresden, Leipzig, Meissen, Weimar and Frankfurt on Oder.
