On our way back from visiting Neuschwanstein we also stopped to see the Wieskirche, given its fame as one of the most beautiful German Baroque churches and the fact that it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The church is situated in a quiet location, away from any village. Even so, there were lots of people there maybe also because it was Sunday and the mass ended. It id indeed quite beautiful inside though it’s hard to say if it is more beautiful than other Baroque churches we’ve seen so far.
