During our stay in Lübeck, we also visited Schwerin castle. We saw photos of it before and it does look very pretty but, for some reasons, we did not really enjoy the visit. The castle itself is not very tourist friendly, even though it is a very popular tourist destination. The café was not open (though it should have been), the toilets were in a porta cabin and the gardens are not really that exciting. So, we did not spend much time there and we ended up leaving quite early and going to Travemünde, which we enjoyed much more 🙂
