For our summer holiday in 2020, we decided to stay local and go somewhere in Bavaria, so we went near Passau to check it out. We stayed in a hotel within a former castle, in Neuburg am Inn. It was a very good choice, as the hotel was very nice and the location was excellent. The castle is mostly ruins and it seems to have been built in the 11th century.
