During our stay in Verona, we also took a day trip to Modena. Our first stop was at the house museum of the late Luciano Pavarotti. The house is outside Modena, in a field, with not much other stuff around it. The house is very welcoming, full of colours and light, not very big and full of Pavarotti’s personality. After that visit we stopped a bit in Modena but it was all a bit sleepy, as most shops and restaurants were closed either for the day or for the long weekend (it was before 15th of August).
