Last year we finally made it to Iași, a city in the Moldova region of Romania, that I have not visited in a looong time (more than 35 years)! Both my parents did their university degrees there and I did visit it when I was younger but I did not remember much 🙂
We really liked the city and its lovely buildings. We visited the “Trei Ierarhi” Monastery, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Our Lady Queen of Iași Cathedral, the “Vasile Alecsandri” National Theatre, the “A.I. Cuza” University, the Golia Monastery and the Palace of Culture. They were all very impressive in their own way!
