On our way to Linderhof, we decided to stop and see the Baroque church of the Ettal Abbey, given the beautiful photos we saw before. Ettal Abbey is a Benedictine monastery founded in 1330. The current Baroque church dates from 1744 and it is indeed really impressive though it’s not very big.
We also found a very nice bakery in Ettal, with great cakes 🙂
