Ballet

After we moved to the UK, I fell in love with ballet. I used to like it when I was small but then I got off mainly because I saw it as quite cold and technical. But then I watched Manon on TV with Tamara Rojo and Carlos Acosta and I realised ballet can be different, it can be about emotions and storytelling and, when you are lucky enough to see great dancers, it can make use of the whole body to convey even more than words can do. Manon was different because of Kenneth McMillan’s style of choreography. After that, we started going a lot into London (and not only) and we were very lucky to see many great ballets. Here is a small selection of photos from various ballet shows.
