The Glyptothek is dedicated exclusively to classical antique sculpture and, while not being very large, it provides lots of very beautiful sculptures and a wonderful stroll through rooms filled with natural light arranged around an inner yard. Most of the Greek and Roman exhibits were acquired by Ludwig I throughout his life (1786-1868).
