Montacute House

On our way back from Exmoor we stopped for lunch at Montacute, another interesting National Trust property. We very much enjoyed the food, probably being the best lunch we’ve ever had at a National Trust cafe. The house is great, built during Elizabeth times. The landscape around it is really lovely but the weather turned quite miserable so we did not have much opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Hope to be back on a better day!
