Photos from Burghley House, in Lincolnshire. Unfortunately, it’s not very easy to convey how impressive it really is as photography is not allowed inside. The George rooms have amazing painted ceilings and walls. The Heaven room and the Hell’s staircase are especially impressive. The house was used as Lady de Burgh’s Rosings in the 2005 “Pride and Prejudice” (with Keira Knightley, Matthew Mcfadyen, etc.).
