Verona has become an annual destination in the recent years, after moving to Munich 🙂 We love not only the beautiful city but also the amazing experience of seeing open-air operas at Arena di Verona.
In 2024 we went twice, during August 🙂 The first time we saw an amazing production of Aida and a Tosca with Anna Netrebko. The second time we mainly went to see Anna Netrebko again in Tosca 🙂
During the Aida performance, we also made use of our rain ponchos and, even though at some point it was not very sure that the performance will go ahead, we were lucky to see it to the end and with a very atmospheric lightning show in the background 🙂
